Christian T. Williamson, P.E.
President & Founder

Mr. Williamson has over a decade of experience working in the field of structural engineering. Mr. Williamson is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California and Idaho and is the president of CTW Engineers, Inc. where he oversees the structural design of custom residential, commercial, and industrial structures and provides investigative engineering services for the assessment of damaged structures and the condition of existing structures. Mr. Williamson is a faculty member at the Southern California Institute of Architecture and Woodbury University, where he teaches a series of classes in the subject of structural engineering to students seeking Graduate and Undergraduate degrees in the field of Architecture. He has provided expert witnessing services for litigation involving structural damage and was approved and hired by the State of California for the Independent Readjustment Program involving independent assessment of hundreds of structures damaged during the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. His engineering experience includes the design of structural retrofits for roadway and highway bridges, institutional facilities, and arena structures, and overseeing quality control and construction scheduling for large scale precast concrete construction projects. He is a member of the Structural Engineering Association of Southern California and is a board member of the Los Angeles-based Consulting Structural Engineering Society (CSES). He graduated in 1995 from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo with a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.

Jennifer D. Shively, P.E.
Project Manager

Ms. Shively has been working in the field of engineering, architecture, and construction management for over 15 years. She is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California, and has been with CTW Engineers since 2004. At CTW, she is responsible for structural design and project management for a variety of custom residential, historic, and commercial projects. Previously she worked for a general contractor managing the construction of public parks, university buildings, and historic renovation projects. Ms. Shively has a Masters Degree in Architecture from Southern California Institute of Architecture, and a BS from Harvey Mudd College. She has also assisted Mr. Williamson with teaching both graduate and undergraduate structures courses.

Douglas A. Miller, P.E.
Project Engineer

Mr. Miller is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California and has been with CTW Engineers since the end of 2005. He is an '03 graduate from the University of Illinois (UIUC) and its annually top-ranked department of Civil and Environmental Engineering . Mr. Miller has work experience in the design of commercial, private and public structures utilizing varying materials such as wood, light-gage and structural steel, masonry, poured-in-place and precast concrete. He is currently a member of professional organizations such as the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC).

Rupesh Akkihebbal
Staff Engineer

Mr. Akkihebbal has received his B.E in Civil Engineering at Mumbai University, India and his M.S in Structural Engineering at the University of Southern California. Mr. Akkihebbal has good experience in the design of residential structures with timber, steel and concrete framing.

Olivier Dore
Lead structural draftsperson

Mr. Dore has over 20 years experience as Designer / Draftsperson with an emphasis in Architectural and Structural design. At CTW Engineers,  he has been responsible for creating drafting standards, establishing graphic identity, producing structural drawings,  and creating and maintaining an extensive detail library. He is in charge of coordination between structural and architectural design drawings. He Interprets the intent of architectural drawings for creating structural backgrounds. He is skilled at creating framing plans and identifying potential issues between architectural intent and structural reality and is able to alert engineers to these potential issues. He follows specific direction from the engineers to create the completed structural drawing package for the approved city permit and ultimately for construction.
