PROJECT STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Job Purpose
Project Engineer position available immediately. Tasks include the structural design of steel, timber, concrete and masonry structures.

Duties

• Preliminary feasibility studies to determine project guidelines and selection of structural systems
• Developing structural design drawings and performing structural calculations
• Developing structural connection details specific to each project
• Coordinating project completion and acting as office liaison with other design professionals
• Reviewing and preparing structural design drawings and calculations for accuracy and completeness

Skills/Qualifications
Candidate must have proficiency in using The California Building Code and be proficient in structural design and detailing of timber, steel, concrete and masonry structures. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, RISA and Enercalc is also required. Verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential. B.S./M.S. Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering. EIT/FE required, P.E. preferred. Experience level 2-5 years.
